MonetizeDesk works with CTV app owners on the playback and interface surfaces they control. The television operating system's home screen and device-level discovery belong to a separate Smart TV & OEM review. App ownership establishes the starting boundary for the work.
Match the placement to the app's viewing model
A CTV app may carry on-demand titles, scheduled FAST channels and live events. Eligible in-stream positions and ad pods follow the relevant content and break rules.
An app-controlled pause placement or in-app discovery tile may be assessed where the app implements the surface and a compatible delivery, buying and measurement route exists. These are separate placements from programme breaks.
A distributed channel may retain a share of advertising inside its feed. The app's own placements, channel allocation and device-platform surfaces need distinct records so the same break is not claimed twice.
Launch on a defined device or fix a proven gap
For a first ad-supported release, select one eligible break or in-app surface and a defined device family. Establish the seller allocation, approved creative, serving route, playback events and fallback before expanding to other televisions.
For an established app, review filled decisions that do not play, partial pods, incompatible creative, frequency and misallocated channel income. An issue on one device family needs an identifiable correction before a wider rollout.
A supported dynamic video insertion workflow may deliver the break. Permitted geographic selection can vary creative within it. Returned or stitched ads still need playback verification on the actual device.
Measure the hour from opportunity to income
We compare eligible viewing hours and owner-controlled ad time with requests, decisions, filled and played seconds, errors and net receipts. Device family, app version, content model and insertion route help locate the loss.
Continuation and frequency sit alongside net revenue per viewing hour. A healthy fill percentage can hide failed playback or time attributed to another seller. The review reconciles the app's delivery and economics using available source records.
What your team receives
Your team receives a placement-authority map, a device and content baseline, and a prioritized launch or correction. The pilot plan assigns app, provider and reporting tasks, with a limited release, playback QA, fallback and viewer safeguards.
The result explains what played on the tested devices, what the app owner retained and the viewing effects observed. We state reporting limits and recommend keeping, revising, expanding or stopping the change. Your authorized product and technical team approves the live release.
VOD & AVOD, FAST Channels and Live Streaming explain the viewing models. How We Work describes the decision process. Recurring operation has separately agreed coverage, responsibilities and commercial terms.
Bring the app and the issue
Share the supported televisions, content models, broad viewing scale, main markets, current ad and insertion setup and suspected gap through Monetize With Us. Detailed logs or system access follow an agreed process.
