MonetizeDesk works with direct-to-home television operators and their commercial, broadcast and device teams. The opportunity is the inventory the operator is authorized to sell and can actually deliver—not its entire subscriber base or every break in every carried channel.
Separate three operator opportunities
Operator-controlled linear spots can follow an automated booking, traffic and playout route. A common-feed spot remains a feed-level execution unless a separate replacement mechanism is used.
Addressable receiver replacement uses designated windows and a supported receiver population. An eligible replacement execution needs creative distribution, selection, substitution, fallback and evidence that the selected ad played. Receiver hardware, software and the actual delivery design determine eligibility.
Guide, discovery or on-demand placements need their own operator authority, implementation and reporting. A discovery unit is not a replacement impression. Each product has a separate opportunity count and commercial allocation.
Receiver-level replacement, a distinct regional feed and dynamic insertion in an IP stream are different delivery paths. We name the supported path before proposing reach or a buying route.
Activate a first product or improve existing replacements
For a first activation, establish the operator's allocation, a designated window and a compatible device group. Confirm the specialist infrastructure, permitted selection inputs, buying path, playback evidence and common-feed fallback before a limited release.
For an active system, locate losses between eligible opportunities, ad decisions and successful substitutions. Unsupported boxes, late or missing creative, failed playback, fallback and reporting differences need distinct corrections.
A selected replacement that falls back to the common feed is not a successful paid replacement. Its viewing continuity and commercial outcome are recorded separately.
Measure the eligible delivery chain
Review eligible receivers and opportunities, decisions, actual replacements, failures, fallback and net receipts by supported device group and channel allocation. Subscriber totals provide context; they do not establish addressable reach.
For conventional spots, reconcile booking and airing. For interface and on-demand inventory, use the implemented format's own delivery evidence. Costs, discrepancies and deductions belong in the owner-income comparison.
What your team receives
Your team receives an allocation-and-device map, a delivery baseline and a prioritized product or correction. The pilot plan identifies the eligible channel and receivers, provider and operator responsibilities, creative delivery, fallback, verification and reporting.
The result states what successfully played, what reverted to the common feed and what the operator retained. We document evidence limits and recommend keeping, revising, expanding or stopping the change. Your authorized teams approve the live release; infrastructure and recurring support are separately agreed.
Satellite TV Channels covers the channel's feed-level time. Smart TV & OEM Inventory covers separately controlled device interfaces.
